Jushen Enterprise Co., Ltd. was founded in 1969 and is the noted professional manufacturer in charge of a variety of Buddhist statues, gods / goddesses and exquisite works. We are specialized in wooden works, copper works, F.R.P. works, bodiless lacquerware, stone carving, Han-Dynasty white jade carving, Buddhist statue colored drawing and antiqued works.
In the early years of business, we were engaged in manufacturing the Buddhist statues exported to Japan. Now in addition to the works exported to Japan, our works are also exported to Europe, America, and Southeast Asian and we hence enjoy the reputation as the professional in our specialty field. |

Jing-Po Chen, father of Ru-Li Chen, used to be the famous talented person good at western music, arts, caring, literature and paintings. Consequently, Ru-Li Chen inherited the artistic talent from his father; meanwhile, he was also educated and raised in the artistic circumstance. He entered the field of handicraft production and operation (making the works and running the business) by chance. Afterwards, he founded Jushen Enterprise Co., Ltd. in 1969.
The techniques of manufacturing the masterly antiqued works were soon recognized and confirmed by the mass. Therefore, he is called the Taiwan Living National Treasure by both the Japanese and the Taiwanese colleagues. |

Tsam-Hong Du is the son-in-law of Mr. Ru-Li Chen’s first daughter. Likewise, he inherits and masters the workmanship of Mr. Ru-Li Chen. With the spirit of persistence, perseverance and progress toward works and arts like his father-in-law, Du keeps constantly researching and innovating in the new handicraft techniques.
In order to enable the products more exquisite, perfect and refined, he also devotes in promoting the art of Buddhist statue colored drawing for bringing the mass the solemn beauty presented by Buddhist statue art itself and the pertinent artistic works. |

Mrs. Huei-Fen Chen, born in 1960, is the first daughter of Mr. Ru-Li Chen and runs Jushen Enterprise Co., Ltd with her husband, Mr. Tsam-Hong Du. She is also well-known as the Master of colored drawing works in Taiwan. She inherits the artistic talent from her father and grandfather and engages in the research of Buddhist statue colored drawing. In her early period, she collaborated with her 4th young sister, Ming-Jen Chen, for studying up the colored paintings in Dunhuang Stone Caves. Afterwards, she retrieved and absorbed the essence of the foresaid paintings and integrated her ideas of colors in it. Consequently, she presented her innovated style of colored paintings to the world. Through the endeavors and careful fathoming for 2 decades, the style of her unique colored paintings has become the mainstream of Buddhist statue colored drawings in 21st century worldwide. Her works are exquisite and refined with the excellent astonishing color coordination. The Buddhist statues she was engaged in painting express the solemnity, dignity and sublimity with both splendor and magnificence. The tranquility and subtlety of her works enables the mass to bear the respect, adoration and admiration to Buddhist gods. To tell the truth, she is a prodigy rarely seen in a hundred years. She has held the individual exhibitions for several times all over Taiwan. Her works acquire the recognition of the mass; hereby, the collectors and the common people are fond of collecting her works. Her works are reserved in the famous temples in Taiwan and worldwide as well; moreover, they are also reserves in the 4 Grand Famous Mountains in China, in Potala Palace, in Yufo Temple in Shanghai and in Lingyin Temple in Zhejiang for being worshiped by the mass.
Even though the conventional handicraft industry has declined and degenerated nowadays, all staff of Jushen Enterprise still uphold the idea and belief of our founder, Mr. Ru-Li Chen, and constantly inject new vigor to inherit the traditional arts with the leadership of our second-generation inheritor, Mr. Tsam-Hong Du and Mrs. Huei-Fen Chen. We believe that we will make the traditional arts more colorful and vigorous for everlasting inheritance to our offspring and next generations. |
